Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching, Mrs O is a strong believer that there’s no enigma to maths; it is possible to master the subject, you just need the right tools.

With over 25 years’ experience working with teenagers, she’s developed a range of tools and skills that not only help students progress, but also to enjoy the learning process. It’s all about quality over quantity as she isn’t running a tuition factory, but rather one-to-one sessions that are well planned and tailor-made for each individual.

Dedicated to helping her students succeed, Mrs O takes pride in providing accurate predicted grades, so children have confidence in their strengths and time to work on their weaknesses with her support.

Mrs O also offers group sessions for no more than six students at one time. Foundation and Higher Tier students are not taught together to ensure no child is out of their depth. It’s key to her that during these sessions each child receives sufficient support and direction so that at the end, they leave having made significant progress.

Mrs O offers excellent online resources for those students to complete courses independently. This enables students to learn ways to tackle exam style questions and remember methods by applying her memory tags.

Overall, as both a mathematician and scientist, Mrs O is able to identify practical ways to solve problems, something she’ll always enjoy sharing with others.
