My name is Amanda Linder and I have over twenty years of experience in education as a Biology, Science, and Mathematics teacher, both in South Africa and England. I am a caring and compassionate teacher who is passionate about my job, and I am committed to ensuring that every student I teach leaves my classroom feeling that they have reached their full potential. It is my long-term goal to help students develop the right attitude towards learning and mastering Mathematics, and believe that if they enjoy the subject they will be more responsive to learning and will develop the work ethic and resilience they need to be successful. I am therefore committed to overcoming the stigma and showing students that Mathematics is a subject everyone can master and enjoy if they are taught in a fun and engaging way and they approach the subject with a positive mindset.

For me, teaching is a calling, not just a job. I am dedicated to the holistic development and education of all my students. My hope is to leave a positive and lasting impression on every one of them and a love and commitment to learning. For me, there is no greater joy than seeing a student achieve and surpass their goals. Their achievements are my achievements.
