Congratulations to all our Year 11 students who achieved their predicted grades and higher. This meant that every student was able to go to the school that they had applied for. The variety of students this year was fantastic, and it was a privilege working with each and every one of them. Here are the examples of schools they got into: Fortpitt Grammar School, Rainham Grammar School, Rochester Girls Grammar School, Sir Joseph Williams Maths School, Gravesend Grammar and Mayfield Grammar School. These Students have chosen full A-Levels.
One student secured a place at Millfield Rugby School in Gloucestershire and another at The Duke of York’s Royal Military School in Dover. These two schools are particularly difficult to secure a place at. Students who wanted to study vocational courses were successful too in their applications to go to Hadlow College, Maplesdean Sixth Form and Midkent College. One student also succeeded in being offered an apprenticeship.
Two students who are pursuing a tough course in performing arts, needed to pass Maths in order to attend prestigious dance schools. They both achieved just that.
There was not a single disappointed student, and my goal is not only to tutor them in mathematics, but to help them believe in themselves and know that they can pursue goals. They know that with consistent hard work, confidence grows and that what they may have initially feared, became something they enjoyed.
